Nexus TV: placeable wall TVs with synced YouTube
Let your players mount a TV on any wall and watch together. Turn it on, open the remote, paste a link, and everyone nearby sees and hears the same thing at the same time.
Features
Place it anywhere on a wall
-
/tv gives a see-through preview that snaps to the wall you’re aiming at.
- Slide it with the arrow keys, push it in or out with the mouse wheel, tilt it, then place it.
- It only accepts flat walls with solid backing, and it won’t overlap another TV. A green or red outline shows whether it can be placed.
A smart-TV remote with a camera zoom
- Use third eye on the TV and the camera eases in on the screen.
- Pick an app, paste a link and press play. There’s pause, ±10s seek, loop and volume.
- A clean, flat interface with no clutter.
Plays what your players want
- YouTube links (watch, short links, shorts, live streams)
- Vimeo, Dailymotion and Twitch channels
- Direct video, audio and image links
- Other web links: the server looks inside the page for the real video file
Properly synced
- Everyone sees the same moment of the video, even if they walk up halfway through.
- Sound gets quieter with distance and is muffled through walls and other interiors.
- Each player has their own volume mute and their own list of recently played links.
Built for servers
- TVs are saved and come back after a restart.
- Only the player who placed a TV, or a staff member, can take it down.
- A limit on TVs per player, and staff commands to remove or clear TVs.
- Works with ox_target or qb-target, or the built-in
[E] prompt if you use neither.
- Standalone. No framework needed.
- Everything is easy to change in
config.lua.
Requirements
- OneSync enabled
- The resource folder must be named
tv-script
Good to know
- TVs of the same model close together show the same picture.
- Pages that can’t be turned into a video are shown as a web page instead, with no pause or volume control, and some sites block this.
